jewelry-making workshops conducted in the metro Atlanta
community at local community recreational and senior centers,
local art galleries, local bead shops, country clubs, and as
jewelry-making home parties. To request information and

C. Chocolate Drops Bead Society – Atlanta
Chapter:
is a bead society created by Tasha! for people of color who
love beading, beaded jewelry and beaded objects of all types.
This society is dedicated to the study and sharing of the
history of beads from African and around the world and how
African beading techniques are adopted into almost every aspect
of contemporary jewelry making.
Monthly meetings, work-shops and
jewelry-making sessions are conducted with teachers who
demonstrate jewelry-making techniques and provide money-making
opportunities for members only. Membership is comprised of
amateurs to professionals. We work with glass beads, polymer
clay, ethnic beads, African beads, handmade beads and numerous
glass beads from around the world. Our work spans the spectrum
of jewelry-making, from weaving with seed beads to designing
tribal and ethnic-style beaded jewelry. The annual membership
fee is $35.00 per member which is tax-deductible. Membership
also includes a quarterly Chapter-created “Chocolate Drops Bead
Society Newsletter.” Quarterly fundraising projects are
conducted to raise money in support of the chapter and local
charities, such as AIDS research, cancer research and youth

D. AvenueSouth
: is a quarterly newsletter that
cover’s the local Atlanta and national fashion and accessories
scene from a “Tasha Perspective.” The newsletter informs
customers on the latest Tasha! Trends in fashions, accessories
and style. Inside coverage also includes Tasha feature
stories,Tasha Books, Tasha Boutique, Tasha INTERIORS, Tasha
Beauty & Style, Tasha Body & Mind, Tasha Money, Tasha
Food & Home, Tasha’s “Faith Club” and Tasha’s “Million
Dollar Girlfriends’ Club.”
